Every girl loves cosmetic products and they have a number of cosmetics products in the collection. Most girls like to purchase branded products and the branded ones are usually very costly but we should never take risks for our skin. Sometimes cheap products look attractive but after using them we can feel the difference. So, How to reuse expired cosmetics I will always suggest you buy branded products. They are quality products and have genuine manufacturing, expiring dates. Something that can break a girl’s heart is the expiry date of the products because most products remain unused or less used till they expire but they have no choice but to throw them away. I know it hurts a lot.

What if I say, you can use expired products also and you don’t need to throw them away from your makeup box. Doesn’t it sound so pleasant?

1. Moisturiser Cream

We all use moisturiser regularly to protect our skin especially in winters. Girls who have dry skin, they can’t live without moisturiser. Moisturiser is an important part of their daily routine. But when the moisturiser has crossed its expiry date, we don’t have a choice but to throw it.

You can use it in different ways. Use it to polish your leather bags and jackets. It will give your bags and jackets a new shiny look and it will be a great idea to reuse your expired cosmetic products.

2. Eyeshadow 

Eyeshadow is an important part of every girl’s makeup. Makeup is incomplete without eyeshadow. It’s a costly product that every girl uses for sure. But it also has an expiry date to throw it from your makeup. 

But don’t worry, I will tell you an idea of how to reuse an eyeshadow. Just get it out of any colour and crush it in a bowl. After crushing it, mix it in a clear transparent nail polish and create a new customized colour.

3. Mascara

Mascara is every girl’s favourite eye makeup, even though I also like mascaras a lot. It gives a beautiful look to our eyes. After it expires don’t throw, it can be used in many ways.

First wash the mascara brush nicely then you can use it to smooth your fuzzy eyebrows. It can be used to smooth your baby hairs also. It can be used for dry lips. Dip the brush in petroleum jelly and scrub your lips gently. All the hacks to reuse mascara are very useful.

4. Skin Toner

For toning the skin, skin toner plays an important role. But if it expires, it’s become useless and should be thrown away from our makeup. But it can be reused. As skin toners have a high amount of alcohol and when it expires, can be used to clean glass, mirror and mobile screen.

5. Lip balm

 Lip balm is very necessary for lips, especially in the winter season. When it expires don’t throw it and use it to keep your heels smooth. It can be used to fix the stuck zip and it canmake your shoes shiny also.

6. Lipstick

Lipstick can be reused also. We have many lipstick in our makeup box that are not finished but expired. You can reuse your favourite lipstick into a cool lip balm.

Heat your lipstick in a bowl or spoon till its bacteria kill. After that mix it into vaseline petroleum jelly or any petroleum jelly use your new customised colours.

7. Hair Shampoo

Hair shampoo also expires and using an expired shampoo can cause hair fall also. So, you can use expired shampoo to clean your cars, woolen clothes and delicate clothes. Shampoo is milder than detergent so it can clean your clothes without harm.

8. Face wash

Expired face wash can be reused. Use it to clean your tiles and woolen clothes. Expired face wash can be used to clean gold and silver ornaments. It won’t damage your ornament and by using this way, you can reuse your expired cosmetics.

9. Perfumes

Perfume hacks are not new. Most people know how to reuse expired perfume. Expired perfume can be used as a room freshener. I am sure we all have used it like room freshener. You can use it in rooms, bathrooms and even in cars also.

10. Nail polish

Branded nail polish are very costly. When it is not finished but expires, don’t throw it. You can use it to paint your vase or use it in craft. You can use it to label your kitchen containers also. Expired nail polish can harm your nails so never use expired nail polish but try these hacks to reuse it.
