A life time experience at Ranthambore

 

Ranthambore national park 

is situated in the city of Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan state. It’s a junction of the Aravali and Vindhya ranges. Ranthambore is around 400 sq km of area including water bodies, hills and large forest area which is perfect for wildlife to survive.    

 

The National park was established as Sawai Madhopur Game Sanctuary in 1955 by the Government and later in 1973, it was declared as one of the selectiveTiger reserves in India. Ranthambore was declared a national park on 1st November, 1980.

 

Our Journey to Ranthambore National Park:

We started our journey from Jaipur City via car towards Ranthambore         national park. It was a life time experience at Ranthambore. It was a sunny and perfect day for a visit to Ranthambore national park. We started around 6 O’Clock in morning and around 5 hours and 200 km we reached Raj Palace Resort in Ranthambore. Here we spend one hour for lunch and refreshments. Here we need to park our vehicle as private vehicles are not allowed to enter the safari area so we  board a 20 seater canter for journey further.  

Top activities at Ranthambore National Park

Photography – it is free of cost here at Ranthambore national park. A number of animals and birds with magnificent jungle locations are there in Ranthambore. 

Videography – Photography is subject to charge depending upon usage like documentaries and  professional notes. 

Gypsy / Canter Safari – There are two types of vehicles provided by authorities for safari. Gypsy for upto six members and Canter upto 20 members. We opted for Canter due to our team size and obviously it’s cheaper than Gypsy ride. But it’s sure you will love this experience in any mode you choose. 

Top attractions at Ranthambore National Park

Fort – 

Ranthambore fort was constructed by the Chauhan’s in the 10th century. History and architecture lovers prefer this fort to visit as it holds many historical and architectural wonders in it. 

Shri Ganesh Temple – 

Trinetra Ganesh Temple located in Ranthambore Fort. It’s one of the oldest temples in Rajasthan. This is the only temple in which the entire family of Lord Ganesha exists whereas his statue consists of three eyes. 

Raj bagh Ruins –

The Ruins are situated between Padam Talo & Raj Bagh Talo in Ranthambore National Park. These ruins are surrounded by dense forest. Ruins have arches, palaces and domes in itself. Ruins can be viewed from a distance during the Safari tour.

Talao (Padam, Rajbagh) –

Padam talao and Rajbagh Talao are located nto deep forest of Ranthambore National Park. These are the primary water resources in the reserve for animals to drink and shelter to escape from heat.

Kachida Valley –

Kachida Valley is a deep and  outskirts forest reserve of Ranthambore National Park. This area is home to a large population of Panthers and sloths. 

Lakarda and Anantpura –

Lakarda and Anantpura are two regions located in the northwestern & northern areas of National Park. These areas are rich and wide natural places best for photography and Videography.  

Most comfortable Time to visit Ranthambore national park – 

Tiger reserve Ranthambore Remains closed during monsoon months of July, August and September. Although it’s open for tourists for the remaining year, it is better to reconfirm before making reservations. Winters are the most preferable season to visit as it’s very hot during summers there. 

How to reach Ranthambore national park

By Air – Nearest airport is Jaipur International Airport, Jaipur (approx 182 km)

By Train – Sawai Madhopur Railway Station (approx 14 km)

By Road – it is recommendable to get hired or a personal vehicle to get there.

We spent around 4 hours in Ranthambore National Park. Although it was a short trip and we covered most of the places in a hurry. But, it was really a great experience to visit Ranthambore National Park. A strongly recommended place to visit for those who love nature.

“रणथंभौर में एक अविस्मरणीय अनुभव”

 

रणथंभौर राष्ट्रीय उद्यान राजस्थान राज्य के सवाई माधोपुर शहर में स्थित है। यहाँ अरावली और विंध्य पर्वतमाला मिलती हैं। रणथंभौर जल निकायों, पहाड़ियों और बड़े वन क्षेत्र सहित लगभग 400 वर्ग किमी क्षेत्र में है जो वन्यजीवों के जीवित रहने के लिए एकदम उपर्युक्त स्थान है।

राष्ट्रीय उद्यान को सरकार द्वारा 1955 में सवाई माधोपुर खेल अभयारण्य के रूप में स्थापित किया गया था और बाद में 1973 में, इसे भारत में चुनिंदा टाइगर रिजर्व में से एक घोषित किया गया था। 1 नवंबर 1980 को रणथंभौर को राष्ट्रीय उद्यान घोषित किया गया था।

 

रणथंभौर राष्ट्रीय उद्यान की हमारी यात्रा:

हमने जयपुर शहर से कार द्वारा रणथंभौर राष्ट्रीय उद्यान की ओर अपनी यात्रा शुरू की। यह रणथंभौर का एक अविस्मरणीय अनुभव था। रणथंभौर राष्ट्रीय उद्यान की यात्रा के लिए यह एक सही मौसम और सही दिन था। हमने अपनी यात्रा जयपुर से सुबह लगभग 6 बजे शुरू की और लगभग 5 घंटे 200 किमी हम रणथंभौर में राज पैलेस रिज़ॉर्ट पहुंचे। यहां हमने लंच और आराम के लिये एक घंटा बिताया। यहां हमें अपना वाहन पार्क करने की आवश्यकता थी क्योंकि निजी वाहनों को सफारी क्षेत्र में प्रवेश करने की अनुमति नहीं है इसलिए हम आगे की यात्रा के लिए 20 सीटर कैंटर पर सवार हुए जिसकी बुकिंग पहले से ही ऑनलाइन कर ली गयी थी, और बताये हुए समय और रिजॉर्ट पर केंटर हमें पिकअप के लिए तैयार था।

रणथंभौर राष्ट्रीय उद्यान में शीर्ष गतिविधियाँ –

 

1. फोटोग्राफी – रणथंभौर राष्ट्रीय उद्यान में फोटोग्राफी निःशुल्क है। रणथंभौर में मनमोहक दृश्यों के साथ वन्य जीव और पक्षी हैं जिनको कि हमने अपने कैमरों में कैद कर लिया ।

2. वीडियोग्राफी – वृत्तचित्रों और प्रोफेशनल फोटोग्राफी जैसे उपयोग के आधार पर फोटोग्राफी शुल्क लगता है। लेकिन अगर आप साधारण मोबाइल से वीडियो बना भी लेते हैं तो जरूरी नही है कि आप उसके लिए शुल्क का भुगतान करें।

3. जिप्सी / कैंटर सफारी – सफारी के लिए अधिकारियों द्वारा दो प्रकार के वाहन उपलब्ध कराए जाते हैं। अधिकतम छह सदस्यों के लिए जिप्सी और 20 सदस्यों तक कैंटर। हमने अपनी टीम के आकार के कारण कैंटर को चुना और जाहिर तौर पर यह जिप्सी की सवारी से सस्ता है। लेकिन यह निश्चित है कि आप चाहें जीप लें या केंटर लें, दोनो में इस अनुभव को पसंद करेंगे।

रणथंभौर राष्ट्रीय उद्यान के प्रमुख आकर्षण-

1. किला –

रणथंभौर किले का निर्माण चौहान राजाओ ने १०वीं शताब्दी में करवाया था। इतिहास और वास्तुकला प्रेमी इस किले को देखना पसंद करते हैं क्योंकि इसमें कई ऐतिहासिक और स्थापत्य कला के नमूने मौजूद हैं जो कि दुनिया भर के पर्यटकों के लिए आकर्षण का केन्द्र हैं।

 

2.श्री गणेश मंदिर –

रणथंभौर किले में स्थित त्रिनेत्र गणेश मंदिर जो कि राजस्थान के सबसे पुराने मंदिरों में से एक है। यह एकमात्र मंदिर है जिसमें भगवान गणेश का पूरा परिवार मौजूद है और उनकी प्रतिमा में तीन आंखें हैं। जिसकी वजह से इस मंदिर को त्रिनेत्र गणेश मंदिर के नाम से जाना जाता है।

 

3. राजबाग खंडहर –

राजबाग खंडहर रणथंभौर राष्ट्रीय उद्यान में पदम ताल और राज बाग ताल के बीच स्थित हैं। ये खंडहर घने जंगल से घिरे हुए हैं। खंडहरों में मेहराब, महल और गुंबद आदि बहुत से ऐतहासिक स्थल मौजूद हैं। सफारी टूर के दौरान दूर से खंडहर देखे जा सकते हैं।

 

4. तालाब (पदम, राजबाग) –

 पदम तालाब और राजबाग तालाब रणथंभौर राष्ट्रीय उद्यान के गहरे जंगल में स्थित हैं। जानवरों के पीने के लिए और गर्मी से बचने के लिए आश्रय में ये प्राथमिक जल संसाधन हैं। यह बहुत ही खूबसूरत तालाब हैं जहाँ स्वच्छ और साफ पानी रहता है।

 

5. कचिदा घाटी –

 काचिदा घाटी रणथंभौर राष्ट्रीय उद्यान का एक सघन और बाहरी इलाका है। यह क्षेत्र पैंथर्स और स्लॉथ की एक बड़ी आबादी का घर है।

 

6. लकरदा और अनंतपुरा –

 लकारदा और अनंतपुरा राष्ट्रीय उद्यान के उत्तर-पश्चिमी और उत्तरी क्षेत्रों में स्थित दो सघन वन्य क्षेत्र हैं। फोटोग्राफी और वीडियोग्राफी के लिए ये क्षेत्र समृद्ध और विस्तृत प्राकृतिक स्थान हैं।

रणथंभौर राष्ट्रीय उद्यान घूमने का सबसे आरामदायक समय –

टाइगर रिजर्व रणथंभौर जुलाई, अगस्त और सितंबर के मानसून के महीनों के दौरान बंद रहता है। हालांकि यह शेष वर्ष के लिए पर्यटकों के लिए खुला है, फिर भी आरक्षण करने से पहले पुन: पुष्टि करना बेहतर है। सर्दियाँ घूमने के लिए सबसे पसंदीदा मौसम हैं क्योंकि वहाँ गर्मियों के दौरान बहुत गर्मी होती है।

 

कैसे पहुंचे रणथंभौर राष्ट्रीय उद्यान –

हवाई मार्ग से – निकटतम हवाई अड्डा जयपुर अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डा, जयपुर (लगभग 182 किमी) है।

ट्रेन से – सवाई माधोपुर रेलवे स्टेशन (लगभग 14 किमी)

सड़क मार्ग से – वहाँ जाने के लिए किराए पर या निजी वाहन लेने की सलाह दी जाती है क्योकि यहां कोई सार्वजनिक बस स्टैंड जैसी व्यवस्था नहीं है।

 

हमने लगभग 4 घंटे रणथंभौर नेशनल पार्क में बिताए। हालांकि यह एक छोटी यात्रा थी और हमने जल्दबाजी में अधिकांश स्थानों को कवर कर लिया। लेकिन, रणथंभौर राष्ट्रीय उद्यान की यात्रा करना वास्तव में एक शानदार अनुभव था। प्रकृति से प्यार करने वालों के लिए यात्रा करने के लिए एक अत्यधिक अनुशंसित स्थान।
